Start with the correct location
Connect an authorised Google account and select the relevant business location. Sitewell can use available profile performance in the website’s reporting. Confirm access and location selection first; a missing connection is not evidence that the business has no visibility.
Make local visibility part of routine care
The existing profile tools include performance information, reviews, posts and recommendations. Your agency can use these to keep local information and communication under review. Agree who confirms facts such as opening hours and who approves public-facing wording.
- Review information when the business changes.
- Keep review replies specific and appropriate.
- Check the status of a proposed update before reporting it as published.
Explain the limits of local reporting
Profile interactions, website search clicks and enquiries describe different parts of the customer journey. Do not add them together as unique customers. These features are not a Maps grid ranking product, and access to individual metrics depends on the connected profile.
